The Noordhoek and greater Cape Town community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Dr Estian van As, a deeply loved and respected young veterinarian who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 34.
Dr van As was known not only for his exceptional skill and professionalism, but also for his compassion, humility, and unwavering dedication to the animals and people he served. Clients trusted him implicitly with their beloved pets, and colleagues admired his work ethic, knowledge, and gentle manner. He approached every patient with care and every client with kindness, leaving a lasting impression on countless families.
Though young, Estian had already built a remarkable reputation within the veterinary community. He was extremely talented and highly dedicated to his work, always striving to provide the very best care. His passion for animal welfare extended beyond the clinic, including meaningful contributions to rescue and rehabilitation efforts.

The Noordhoek veterinary team has shared their deep gratitude for the many messages of condolence and the flowers received in his honor.
