Parker Evans Death Frazeysburg OH Obituary, Death

The community of Frazeysburg, Ohio, and the family of Thomas Sumter Academy are grieving the profound loss of Parker Kenneth Evans, who passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, at 6:41 p.m., at just fifteen years old.

Born on July 17, 2010, Parker’s life, though far too brief, was filled with extraordinary courage, faith, and light. At Thomas Sumter Academy — lovingly known as “The Hill” — Parker was more than a student; he was family. His smile could brighten any room, and his quiet strength left a lasting impression on classmates, teachers, and friends alike. He will forever remain part of the TSA community, which continues to hold his memory close.

For 112 days, Parker battled osteosarcoma with unmatched bravery. In true Parker fashion, he fought until the very end. Yet even in the midst of treatments, surgeries, and unimaginable physical pain, he remained selfless. He shielded others from the weight of his struggle, often insisting he was “a 2” on the pain scale. He never wanted anyone to worry. His faith carried him through every trial, reflecting the words of 2 Timothy 4:7-8: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

To his parents, Parker was everything — their firstborn, the one who made them Mom and Dad, their greatest privilege and deepest joy. They will forever cherish the memories they shared, especially their recent trip to Disney, a time filled with laughter and love. In his honor, they have committed to continue fighting for other children battling osteosarcoma, ensuring that Parker’s legacy brings hope to others.

Though their hearts ache with an immeasurable loss, Parker’s family finds comfort in knowing his suffering has ended. No more hospital stays. No more chemotherapy. No more scans or blood draws. Cancer may have won a battle, but their faith assures them that Christ has claimed the ultimate victory. They imagine him healed and whole, stepping through Heaven’s gates, ringing the bell in triumph, and finally free — jumping, dancing, laughing, and acting with the boundless energy that defined him.

“Forever fifteen” is how he will be remembered — brave, faithful, and radiant. This is not goodbye, but “see you later.” Parker’s story will continue to be told, his light will continue to shine, and his spirit will live on in every life he touched.

The TSA community extends heartfelt condolences to the Evans family, lifting them in prayer and surrounding them with love. May God’s peace and comfort sustain them until that beautiful reunion day.
